Ways to Clean your Chandelier



Chandeliers are a branched hanging light that hold a number of light bulbs or candles. They are used to lighten the home. There are a variety of these available, however, the most popular among all is crystal one. Cleaning a light fixture seems like a daunting task, especially if it has not been done for a long time.

Steps for Cleaning  


There are a few points that you should keep in mind while cleaning like
1.  Make sure that the light switch is off and bulbs are cool before you start working
2.  Set up the ladder in a stable position
3.  Put a folded blanket under the fixture to catch any pieces that may drop
4.  It is advisable to draw a sketch on the paper before disassembling. This will help you when you put it back together
5.  Remove pieces one by one and laying them carefully on the blanket
6.  Rinse them with hot water
7.  Use a mild detergent over the pieces
8.  Lay the pieces to let dry
9.  Allow to air dry, or polish with a lint free cloth
10. Reassemble the fixture

It is important to clean the light fixture at the regular intervals. Otherwise, the crystals will get covered and lose their sparkle and light reflection characteristics.
